All about us

Special Notice from the quilt show:

Found.  A Marks and Spencer shopping bag containing clothing items was left under the entrance table on Thursday afternoon. Please contact Carol Findlay with a description of the contents to reclaim – 07714208870

Our aim is to promote an interest in, and to preserve the skills of patchwork and quilting by giving members an opportunity to meet together and be inspired and stimulated by talks, demonstrations and workshops.

We meet once a month at the Lavant Memorial Hall and our members skills vary from absolute beginner to expert.

Meetings are held on the first Thursday in the month except for August.  Some are held in the morning or for the day, and the remainder are held in the evening to give people who work an opportunity to join us.  Some of our speakers give workshops on a Friday.

From time to time we take note of members requests and run extra in house workshops for those who want to learn basic techniques.

We have an extensive library of patchwork and quilting books which is free to all members. We try to update our stock regularly.
